JP Morgan Asset Management has launched an active exchange-traded fund designed to capture capital growth and income.
The new entity is called the JP Morgan Flexible Income ETFm and is listed on the New York Stock Exchange. The fund invests in income-producing securities, including direct equity holdings and fixed income ETFs, across both developed and emerging markets worldwide.
This new active ETF represents the firm’s multi-asset solutions team's first foray into actively managed multi-asset ETFs, JPMAM said in a statement. The firm said the multi-asset income category presents a $500 billion opportunity.

By harnessing the power of diverse asset classes and our global expertise, we're delivering a dynamic solution that not only meets our clients' income needs but also thrives in today's fast-paced market environment," Jamie Kramer, chief investment officer and global head of multi-asset solutions.
The strategy powering the ETF is run by a team consisting of Michael Schoenhaut, Eric Bernbaum, and Gary Herbert.
